This here, I wanna talk about that Yves Saint Laurent, YSL, that LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG. I saw some folks carrying it, looks like somethin’. And you know what? I heard it’s bein’ sold at them specialty stores.
That bag, it ain’t just any old bag. It’s one of them fancy ones, costs a pretty penny, I reckon. But some folks, they like that kind of stuff. This bag, I heard, they call it the LE CARRé. Sounds kinda like “car” but with an “e” at the end, and it has an accent, fancy word for them city folks. This ain’t my words, but they say it’s a “satchel.”
Now, what’s a satchel? Well, it’s like a purse, but bigger. You can fit all sorts of things in there. I saw one lady, she had her wallet, her keys, even a little snack all tucked in there. I seen ’em in different colors, too. There’s this one that’s kinda like the color of a brick. You know, that reddish-brown. They call it “brick color” but it’s more like, a perfect brown to me, maybe a little beige. And there’s a green one, too. Like the color of grass, but maybe a little darker.

They say this YSL LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG is made of some special stuff. “Canvas and box something leather,” I heard someone say. Canvas, that’s like what they make tents out of. Tough stuff. And this “box” leather, I reckon it’s real smooth and nice. Don’t know for sure, never touched one myself. Don’t know what a “box” has to do with it, though. Maybe it comes in a box? Who knows.

I heard them say you can find it at the YSL store. They say they sell clothes there too. Fancy clothes. Dresses and things. I seen a lady wearin’ one of them dresses once. Looked real nice. She had a bag, too. Might have been one of these YSL LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG.
They also say there’s somethin’ called “Le 5 7”, whatever that means. And they say it comes in all sorts of different styles, limited edition they call it. Like python and calfskin, sounds fancy. Makes it worth more, like an investment. Like those old coins my grandpa used to collect.
Some folks say these bags, they cost a lot because of the name. “YSL,” “Saint Laurent,” it’s a fancy name. Like Chanel, or Dior, or D&G. Whatever those are. You’re payin’ for the name, they say. Maybe that’s true.
And there’re other bags too, like this Nolita, and the Vicky Bag. And a big one, the Cabas Rive Gauche Tote. It’s all just a lot of words to me, sounds like a whole bunch of nothin’.
Anyway, if you got the money, and you like fancy things, maybe this YSL LE CARRé SATCHEL BAG is for you. It’s a nice-lookin’ bag, I’ll give it that. And it seems like it’ll hold a lot of stuff. Just remember, you gotta go to one of them specialty stores to get it. And bring your wallet, ’cause it ain’t gonna be cheap!
Yves Saint Laurent, they started this whole thing a long time ago, back in 1961, I think. This fella named Yves and his friend, Pierre, they made it all up. Now it’s a big deal. They say it’s a “luxury fashion house,” which sounds mighty important. And it’s French, from France. They talk different over there, all fancy-like.
