Okay, so, I’ve been eyeing this Prada Re-Edition 1995 Chaine Re-Nylon Tote Bag for a while now. You know, the one that’s all over TikTok? Yeah, that’s the one. Everyone seems to have it, from Kendall Jenner to Sofia Richie Grainge, and even Bella Hadid. It’s got that classic, simple vibe, and it’s made from that Re-Nylon stuff, which is supposed to be, like, recycled and good for the planet, I guess.
First, I started digging around online. I found it on a couple of different websites. They all had the same pictures, same description, talking about the “padding and top-stitching” and how it’s such a “versatile design.” Whatever that means, haha. It’s got these leather and chain-link shoulder straps that look pretty cool, and a leather tag, and a main compartment with a zipper inside. I am a sucker for an interior zip pocket because I always bring some small items around.
Then, I got curious about where to actually buy it. I wanted to get a good deal, obviously. Some places said they’d ship it within 7 days, which isn’t too bad. I also saw something about a “dust bag” that comes with it, which is nice, I guess, for keeping it safe when you’re not using it.
I did some more research, and found out that it is much cheaper to buy Prada in Italy than anywhere else, because they have outlets in Milan, Venice, and Rome. Who knew? So, if you’re ever in Italy, that’s the place to go for a Prada bag. Then I was thinking, maybe this bag is more than just a fashion thing. I mean, people are saying that these bags can actually hold their value, or even become more valuable over time. Like, they become classics, or something. So, maybe it’s kind of like an investment? I don’t know, that’s what I read.
So, after thinking about it for a while, I decided to go for it. I am going to buy it online because I am not going to Italy anytime soon. After all that online window shopping, I just placed the order. It is done! I’ll let you guys know when it arrives and what I think of it in person. Fingers crossed it’s as good as it looks online!
